Broomsticks need quality too

besenstielThe broomsticks here in Kenya are obviously weaker than in Switzerland. This is probably because they are not made of natural wood, but are glued together like chipboard. Then a coloured plastic cover is added, and that's it. When it gets wet or the humidity increases like in the rainy season, the handle becomes flexible and bendable. Then it doesn't take much lateral pressure when you pull it over the ground for the stick to break. I am thinking of making the next one myself, perhaps from a large branch from the forest ...
